Summary:
The Senior Financial Analyst leads deeper financial analysis to support strategic planning, performance management, and cross-functional initiatives. This role is ideal for a highly analytical thinker who can translate financial data into actionable insights.
Essential Functions:
• Oversee financial reporting for Binks on a global basis.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis and scenario modeling to support strategic decisions.
• Manage the global consolidation process within Oracle.
• Own and manage the general ledger reporting structure within Oracle.
• Partner with department leaders to provide financial guidance and business insights.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities in financial performance.
• Draft financial statements and covenant calculations for quarterly lender reporting.
• Present insights and recommendations to mid- and senior-level stakeholders.
• Help with the annual capital expenditure budget, as well as assessing actual vs. budgeted spend by project.
• Improve financial models, processes, and reporting tools.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Support special projects, such as system implementations or business cases.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related; MBA or CPA preferred.
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting.
• Advanced Excel and data modeling skills; experience with financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Epicor, Workday).
• Strong business acumen and analytical thinking.
• Proven ability to communicate financial concepts to non-finance audiences.
• High attention to detail with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
