We are seeking a Marketing Associate to help expand Mortar Group’s visibility, build and strengthen relationships with our investor community, and support the execution of marketing initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both creative and analytical work, and is eager to grow with a dynamic real estate investment firm.

Core Responsibilities
Assist in creating and executing a marketing plan with measurable goals across all key channels — including social media, email, web, SEO, and investor communications. Then help track progress toward engagement, lead generation, and brand growth objectives, adjusting tactics as needed.
Digital & Social Media
- Manage Mortar Group’s social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube Shorts), including content planning, posting, and engagement tracking.
- Repurpose short-form video and visual content from investor webinars, projects, and behind-the-scenes clips.
- Support brand-building initiatives such as podcasts, partnerships, and thought-leadership articles.
- Execute digital marketing campaigns across LinkedIn, Meta, and email.
CRM & Email
- Manage and maintain HubSpot CRM — ensuring accurate investor data, lead scoring, and clean drip campaigns.
- Draft and schedule newsletters, webinar invites, and post-event follow-ups.
Collateral & Communications
- Help draft and distribute investor materials including quarterly reports, offering decks, and presentations.
- Keep all marketing collateral, images, and disclosures up to date.
Web & SEO
- Update website content, check links, and maintain current project listings on mortargroup.com.
- Assist with SEO optimizations to improve visibility and engagement.
Analytics & QA
- Track performance across social media, email, and web campaigns.
- Test forms, validate links, proofread content, and support HubSpot or Google Analytics reporting.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or investor relations (real estate/finance a plus).
• Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for detail.
• Familiarity with HubSpot and AppFolio preferred.
• Knowledge of SEO, LinkedIn marketing, and digital content best practices.
• Experience managing social media accounts for a brand or organization.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects at once.
• Entrepreneurial mindset: proactive, resourceful, and comfortable in a lean team.
