Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Ph.D. Student in Mechanical Engineering located in the Greater Laredo Area. The Ph.D. student will engage in advanced research activities under the mentorship of faculty members, participate in laboratory experiments, analyze data, and contribute to scholarly publications. Daily tasks include attending seminars, collaborating with peers on research projects, and assisting in undergraduate teaching duties.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering principles and research methodologies
- Proficiency in data analysis, laboratory equipment handling, and experimental techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for academic writing and presentations
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a research team
- Experience in publishing scholarly articles is a plus
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Independent working capability and strong problem-solving skills
