CLO Investment Research – Junior Analyst
CIFC Asset Management LLC (together with its affiliates, “CIFC”) is an alternative credit specialist offering investment solutions across CLOs, corporate, structured, opportunistic credit and direct lending. The firm currently manages over $45 billion in assets and employs more than 200 professionals in the U.S. and Europe.
The position is for the CLO research team.
The Analyst’s responsibility is to assist senior members of the CLO Research team in the following areas:
- Financial modeling
- Performance tracking of the firm’s existing credit portfolio
- Assessment of new underwriting opportunities
- Company and industry specific diligence
- Preparation of investment memos
Candidate must have:
- Completed BA or BBA degree with significant accounting and finance coursework
- Two years of full-time professional experience
- Significant financial modelling experience and proficiency with Excel
Candidate should be self-motivated, detail oriented and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Starting salary will be in the $120,000 - $125,000 range with a discretionary bonus paid annually expected to be in $20,000 - $25,000 range
This full-time position is located in New York City.
The analyst will be expected to be in office 4 or 5 days a week
