Strala is rebuilding one of the world's largest industries - claims processing ($280B) - from the ground up. We are building an AI-native service business and are already processing thousands of claims monthly for the world's leading insurers.
In 9 months we reached 7-figure ARR with 5-year average contracts. We raised a 13x oversubscribed round from the fintech partner at Emergence Capital and the Founders Fund partner who backed OpenAI, Cognition, and Scale AI early.
The Role
We’re looking for an exceptionally structured, execution-focused operator to help us scale claims operations. You will work directly with our CEO and VP of Claims to bring clarity and efficiency to the systems and processes that drive how insurance claims are handled at scale. This role fast-tracks you into leadership of a core business area - with real ownership and a mandate to build and lead a team on your own.
Role requirements: 2+ years in MBB consulting, investment banking, private equity, or top-tier startup in a strategic projects/operations role. Located in or willing to relocate to San Francisco.

What the role entails:
- You will own special projects and strategic initiatives, working directly with the CEO
- Build and formalize claims operations as we scale rapidly (process, hiring, workflows)
- Design scalable, data-driven processes that optimize our AI-human workflow
- Lead cross-functional problem solving across product, engineering, and business teams
