About the Role:
You’ll be a core part of a lean, entrepreneurial team underwriting and managing a diverse portfolio of asset-based credit facilities for middle-market companies. The role sits at the intersection of finance, operations, and risk—requiring sharp analytical thinking and the ability to adapt in a fast-moving, client-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support underwriting, structuring, and execution of asset-based lending transactions across a variety of industries and international jurisdictions
- Perform collateral analysis across receivables, inventory, and other working capital assets
- Conduct due diligence and financial statement analysis to assess borrower creditworthiness
- Assist in ongoing portfolio management, including covenant tracking, borrowing base analysis, and performance monitoring
- Partner with business development, legal, and operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding and servicing of transactions
- Prepare internal credit memos and risk reporting for senior leadership
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in asset-based lending, credit analysis, or commercial finance
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; familiarity with borrowing base concepts and working capital metrics
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple transactions in a deadline-driven environment
- International experience or interest in cross-border finance is a plus
