Job Summary:
Join a mission-driven team dedicated to building a sustainable path to space. As an Aerospace Industrial Engineer, you’ll work at the intersection of high-efficiency warehouse automation and precision aerospace tooling logistics. This position supports the Warehouse Automation & Design Engineering team, focusing on identifying future tooling storage needs and enhancing facility layout planning in support of reusable launch vehicle operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Build rate and capacity models to forecast tooling and inventory storage requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing Engineering, Tool Engineering, and Operations to coordinate facility design.
Design and optimize storage layouts using AutoCAD.
Lead and document design reviews, ensuring thorough technical validation.
Conduct research to verify compliance with design and contract requirements.
Participate in Kaizen events to drive continuous improvement.
Coordinate inventory movement with Operations and Cranes & Transport teams.
Required Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
4+ years of engineering experience in a relevant role
Experience with 2D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD)
Nice-to-Have Experience:
Aerospace manufacturing or space systems operations
Leading cross-functional engineering projects
Inventory logistics in high-compliance environments

Leadership in design review processes
