Location: Remote – with occasional onsite meetings in Oakland, CA (travel reimbursement provided)
Duration: 9-month contract
Rate: $57/hour (W2)
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week

✅ Key Responsibilities
- Analyze moderately complex data models and extract actionable insights
- Assist engineers and SMEs with the creation and refinement of data models
- Develop custom and ad hoc reports tailored to various internal teams
- Perform internal and external research to support business decisions
- Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders across departments
- Contribute to project teams and support cross-functional collaboration
🛠️ Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word (pivot tables, data functions, formatting, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
💡 Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with risk analysis, asset management, or utilities industry processes
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Visio, or similar tools
- Understanding of substation equipment or electric utilities terminology
- Exposure to basic programming or scripting (Python, Visual Basic, etc.) is a plus
📍 Location & Travel
This is a remote role, but candidates must be open to occasional in-person meetings in Oakland, CA. Travel costs (airfare, lodging, mileage, per diem) will be reimbursed when meetings are required.
