The 2026 K-Star Analyst Programs are an opportunity for you to join a leading investment services firm, directly out of your undergraduate career.
We are recruiting for multiple Analyst Programs for K-Star Asset Management LLC ("K-Star") in Dallas, TX, including an Credit Asset Management Program, Direct Lending Program, and a Special Servicing Program. These 2-year programs (July 2026 - July 2028) will provide robust learning and development opportunities. At the conclusion of the various programs, there is potential to extend employment for exceptional performers based on mutual interest and business needs. We are looking for candidates eager to be a part of a high-growth platform who are team-oriented with a demonstrated interest in real estate.
KKR REAL ESTATE CREDIT AND K-STAR INVESTMENT SERVICES OVERVIEW
KKR Real Estate Credit was formed in January 2015 to invest in real estate credit products and complement KKR Real Estate's private equity platforms. Within KKR Real Estate Credit, we seek opportunities where we have a sourcing, underwriting or execution advantage by leveraging KKR's brand, industry knowledge and relationships. KKR Real Estate Credit currently invests through six separately capitalized vehicles across our Direct Lending and Securities portfolios and consists of 50+ dedicated professionals based in New York, San Francisco, Houston and Dallas.
K-Star was formed in 2022 and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of KKR. K-Star is a real estate investment services platform providing special servicing, value-add asset management, underwriting and due diligence services, and asset-backed finance support for residential and consumer loans to KKR's real estate credit portfolio. 2026 K-Star Full-Time Analyst Programs
Credit Asset Management Program
Analysts will build analytical and professional skills by working on live deals during all stages of the transaction lifecycle, from origination to deal closing, and will work collaboratively with members of the K-Star and KKR Real Estate Credit originations teams to make investments out of KKR's various investment vehicles (including senior loans, mezz loans, and preferred equity investments). Analysts will be responsible for property-level underwriting, market research, and closing diligence, and will be expected to participate in deal presentations and present their recommendations to the investment committee. Qualified candidates will also be expected to participate in special projects and assignments related to the growth of the KKR Real Estate and K-Star platforms.
Direct Lending Analyst Program
Analysts will build analytical and professional skills by working on live deals during all stages of the transaction lifecycle, from origination to deal closing, and will work collaboratively with members of the K-Star and KKR Real Estate Credit originations teams to make investments out of KKR's various investment vehicles (including senior loans, mezz loans, and preferred equity investments). Special Servicing Program
Analysts will rotate through three Special Servicing functions, spending eight months with each of the Asset Management, Due Diligence, and Portfolio Analytics teams, gaining foundational exposure to the key tenets of the business and developing the core competencies for success. On the Asset Management team, analysts will help with resolution management and modification of loan provisions with the goal of preserving collateral for non-performing loans. On the Due Diligence team, Analysts will help evaluate risk factors and pricing and present scenario analysis to aid in decision making. On the Portfolio Analytics team, Analysts will help monitor and report on the sponsor/borrower, underlying assets, market conditions and identify and mitigate risk. Qualified candidates will also be expected to participate in special projects and assignments related to the growth of the platform.
Primary Qualifications and Skills:
• Anticipated graduation date from an undergraduate program in Winter 2025/Spring 2026
• Outstanding academic record with demonstrated interest in Real Estate
• Aptitude for critical and creative thinking across the quantitative and qualitative spectrum
• Self-starter; comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment
• Ability to learn quickly with clear intellectual curiosity and self-motivation
