Key Responsibilities & Job Description:
- Research, design, and develop computer software and production applications.
- Independently develop and consistently redesign/refactor product to adapt to customer and associate needs.
- Involved in product and tool selection, configuration, security, resilience, performance tuning and production monitoring.
- Mentor less experienced engineers. Develop test suites to enable success and rapid deployment of code to production.
- Collaborate with other team members in agile processes.
- Work with the Product Team to ensure user stories are valuable, developer ready, easy to understand and testable.
- Deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
- Help grow junior engineers by providing guidance on modern software development frameworks, and leading technical discussions.
- Telecommuting available.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Alternate combination of education and experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post baccalaureate experience in the job offered on in a related occupation.
2 years of experience in the following skills are required:1. SAP; 2. MS Office; 3. MS Visio; 4. Quick Book Pro; 5. SQL.
