Our client, a New York–based private equity firm, is seeking a Project Management professional with a strong background in Financial Services. The ideal candidate has 3–7 years of experience driving technology-focused initiatives within a large bank (covering multiple business lines) or a leading consulting firm, and is comfortable managing projects at the intersection of business and technology.
This role offers the opportunity to support system upgrades, implementations, and conversions, while also building impactful reporting solutions for senior leadership. The successful candidate will combine technical insight with business acumen and thrive in an agile, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with product, engineering, data, and business teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
- Act as a trusted partner to stakeholders—providing clear updates, managing expectations, and resolving challenges.
- Develop and present dashboards and reporting decks using Tableau or Power BI to senior management.
- Leverage AI platforms (e.g., ChatGPT Enterprise, Microsoft Copilot) to design workflows, reduce manual overhead, and pilot AI-driven tools that improve project outcomes.
- Support backlog grooming, roadmap definition, and project prioritization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required; strong academic background preferred.
- 3–7 years of project management experience within financial services.
- Background in project delivery at a top bank (multi-business line coverage) or a consulting firm.
- Understanding of technology systems, software development lifecycles, and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall).
- Hands-on experience with Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
