Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a Social Media Manager.
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for planning and executing social media campaigns, creating engaging content, optimizing social media profiles, and implementing content strategies.
The role also entails monitoring social media metrics, interacting with the online community, and staying updated with the latest social media trends.
Qualifications
- Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills
- Proficient in Canva or similar
- 1-2 years minimum experience posting for other people or your own business account using Instagram, Tiktok, Facebook, with at least some experience using Pinterest and other platforms.
- Proficient communication and writing skills
- Experience in developing and implementing content strategies and managing a posting schedule
- Strong analytical skills to measure social media performance
- Familiarity with social media management tools like Meta Business Suite, Later, Buffer, HeyOrca or similar
Minimum 4 hours per week of work required; a
- bility to work independently and remotely
- Must be located in Central Texas area
- Minimum education requirement: certificate of proficiency or associate segree
- Base pay: $30/hour with bonus opportunities
