What are you going to do?
Your main task will be independent project responsibility for complete projects. You will have the responsibility from contract signing until the project is delivered to the customer, installation is completed, and the customer accepts the equipment.
You will be responsible for the budget, project planning and progression to the timeline, project purchasing, shipping, installation and sight acceptance by the customer. The work is carried out in close cooperation with the customer, other project managers and the sales team according to our described procedures in ISO9001.
The projects will be in North America in close cooperation with colleagues in our 3 production units in Europe.
You will be part of our local and global project team and will be reporting to the VP, Projects and Automation in SANOVO Technology USA, Inc.
What skills and experience do we expect of you?
A technical background with an Industrial or Mechanical Engineering degree, or similar, which gives you the basis to be able to see and understand complex equipment, factory process flows, equipment integration and factory automation.
+5 years’ experience in project management is required with advanced education in project management a plus.
Knowledge of the food industry in areas of food safety, equipment hygienic requirements, manufacturing best practices and product safe handling a plus.
Other requirements include:
· Competent IT skills (Navision, MS Office, MS Project)
· Have experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks
· Have a structured and methodical approach to your work with great attention to detail
· Want to work in a multicultural context
· Expected travel – 40%, but can vary based on workload.
