Job Summary
The Coordinator, Supply Chain is responsible for the direct interface between primary customers and Ready ® supply chain for customer order fulfillment, OTIF improvements, and direct to consumer supply chain enhancements.
Job Responsibilities
Manage order processing.
Manage shipment logistics with pack-out facilities, including selecting appropriate shipping methods, coordinating with 3PL’s, and tracking shipments.
Communicate with customers, brokers, and Ready ® sales groups related to customer shipments, product availability, and requested delivery dates.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and shipping companies to ensure cost-effective and timely deliveries.
Review shipping invoices for accuracy.
Analyze historical sales data and review forward demand forecasts for finished goods production location deployment for transfer freight cost reduction and OTIF improvements.
Provide support to direct-to-consumer parcel shipment providers and mass customer consolidation warehouses to minimize cost and optimize consumer experience.
Support supply chain through network shipment volume analysis, material planning modeling, and general supply chain process improvements.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or another related field.
Experience: 1 – 2 years of managing shipping and logistics.
Understanding of logistics principles and relevant regulations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical skills.
