Overview
Partnerships Lead generates new business leads, schedules calls, identifies gaps, and creates opportunity presentations (with photos, summaries, and detailed decks). Partnerships Lead does not continue pursuit nor do they continue relationship-building themselves - the Sales Team nurtures and closes.
Lead vets opportunities, and if viable, brings sales in later for closing stages . She does not handle closing. Background in advertising sales makes them comfortable with relationship management.She is responsible for discovery, vetting, positioning, and relationship cultivation. With an Assistant’s support, Lead does not carry the full load manually, and has CRM and Ai tools
Visibility & Representation
The partnerships lead is the face of the company at conferences, events, sponsorships, and speaking engagements. Relational visibility matters: repeated exposure at events builds recognition with buyers.Partnerships Lead often represents the company locally when executives are unavailable.
Example: secure recognition from a local chamber award program by submitting applications herself.Participates in supplier diversity conferences and trade associations.
