Our client is a manufacturer of petrochemicals.
We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in process engineering, continuous improvement initiatives, and Distributed Control Systems (DCS). The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver who can optimize process performance, drive efficiency, and contribute to plant reliability and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support continuous improvement projects aimed at increasing yield, reducing waste, and enhancing safety.
- Work with DCS systems to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize plant operations.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and safety teams to ensure effective process design and performance.
- Conduct data analysis and root cause investigations for process upsets and reliability issues.
- Maintain process documentation, SOPs, and technical reports.
- Support capital projects including scope development, design input, and commissioning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in a chemical, petrochemical, or related manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
- Proficiency with DCS systems (e.g., Siemens PCS 7).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in batch and/or continuous processing.
- Familiarity with P&IDs, PFDs, HAZOPs, and MOC processes.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, etc.).

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
