Role Overview:
Our client is looking to add a high-caliber Analyst to its team as they continue to accelerate the growth of the firm. The role will include significant face time with Partners and VPs as well as travel across the country to meet with new prospects and attend conferences. Analysts will gain experience across a wide range of industries, transaction types and sizes, as well as be involved in all aspects of sourcing and evaluating investments. The position is located in San Francisco.
Responsibilities:
- Source, identify, and analyze new investment opportunities including interfacing directly with technology company founders and CEOs
- Travel to industry/banker conferences
- Develop investment theses and deep dive on specific technology areas
- Perform research of new markets, technologies, competitive landscape, and share findings to the team
- Assist and support portfolio companies with operational and M&A initiatives
- There is an opportunity for high performers to take on more responsibilities and to be promoted directly to an Associate.
Requirements:
- Experience in PE/VC, investment banking, management consulting, or technology
- Superior work ethic, a desire to learn the PE business, and uncompromising attention to detail
- Excellent execution and time management skills
- Excellent written and spoken communication and presentation skills
- Positive attitude, independent, and self-starting
- Passion for technology
- 0-3 years of experience in related field
