As a Quality Inspector, you will support manufacturing operations by ensuring products meet strict quality standards. This role involves conducting inspections, identifying defects, and collaborating with the production team to drive continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
Perform visual, functional, and dimensional inspections on components and assembliesUtilize precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gaugesIdentify and document non-conformances using quality management systemsConduct first-article, in-process, and final inspections to verify compliance with specifications, communicating quality issues to production and engineering teams for corrective actionSupport root cause analysis and process improvement initiativesFollow safety guidelines and procedures and demonstrate a high level of professionalismMaintains exemplary attendance and punctuality to scheduled shifts

Essential Physical Demands:
Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours/dayFrequently and repetitively, lift, push and carry up to 35 lbs.The ability to carry 20 lbs. up and down stairsFrequently and repetitively, bend, lift and reach to install vehicle parts of varying size and weight overhead, accurately and in allotted timeframesAbility to stand and walk for up to 12 hours/day, including over varied and uneven terrainStoop, lay, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch, twist and crawl for extended periods of time, including up to 12 hours/dayClimb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding or other high structuresAbility to find issues in a work process and receive safety signals using sight, touch, and hearingDemonstrated ability to handle and manipulate tooling and mechanically fasten bolts within required cycle time, quickly and accurately during new hire training and maintaining ability throughout employmentExposures to hazardous materials used in the painting process and ability to follow waste handling/disposal proceduresWearing Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to: safety glasses, safety shoes, bump caps, hearing protection, full-face respirators, gloves, and adhering to prescribed safety rules and guidelines
