The largest device company in the world – with complementary businesses in Surgical and Vision Care - is hiring a Instrumentation and Calibration Engineering Technician to join their team!
Pay: $27-$34/hr
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Schedule: M-F Normal Business Hours
Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, test, and repair instruments that monitor environmental conditions in manufacturing
- Inspect and troubleshoot devices like oscilloscopes, pressure gauges, and temperature controllers
- Take measurements (e.g., heat, voltage, weight) to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain and service control systems on plant equipment
- Support engineers in designing and building custom instruments
- Follow GxP regulations and SOPs, keeping accurate records and completing required training
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required)
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in instrumentation, calibration, or related engineering functions.
- Understanding of measurement and control systems.
- Hands-on experience with tools and devices such as oscilloscopes, pressure gauges, temperature sensors, calipers etc.
