Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, caulking, masking, and priming.
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and spray-painting equipment for a high-quality finish.
- Select appropriate materials, tools, and methods for each painting project.
- Perform both interior and exterior painting on residential and commercial buildings.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment, following all safety regulations.
- Review and interpret project specifications, blueprints, or work orders.
- Protect surfaces and furnishings not to be painted, ensuring a professional finish.
- Work independently or with a small team to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional painting experience, both residential and commercial.
- Expertise in spray painting, materials selection, and paint mixing.
- Familiarity with surface preparation and application techniques.
- Ability to read and follow blueprints and technical instructions.
- Must reside in New Jersey, preferably near Little Ferry.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- OSHA 30 certification required.
- Certifications in fall protection, scaffolding, and general jobsite safety preferred.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to quality workmanship.

Schedule
