Manufacturing Engineer (Entry-Level)
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate with a background in engineering who is eager to apply their academic knowledge in a hands-on manufacturing environment. This role will provide an excellent opportunity to learn and contribute to all aspects of our production processes, from design and optimization to quality control and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Optimization: Assist in analyzing and improving existing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
- Problem-Solving: Participate in troubleshooting and resolving production issues related to equipment, materials, and product quality.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed work instructions, process flow diagrams, and other technical documentation to ensure consistent production standards.
- Tooling & Fixtures: Collaborate on the design and implementation of new tools, fixtures, and equipment to support new product introductions and process improvements.
- Quality Control: Work with the quality assurance team to investigate root causes of defects and implement corrective actions.
- Lean Manufacturing: Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles, such as 5S and Kaizen events, to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or a related field).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with electronic board manufacturing is a plus.
- Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is a plus.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A strong desire to learn and grow in a manufacturing career.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $68,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
