Responsibilities

Develop and execute social media strategies consistent with Administration priorities and agency mission.
Create, edit, and publish digital content (graphics, copy, video, infographics) optimized for each platform.
Monitor online discourse and provide rapid-response recommendations to counter misinformation/disinformation.
Ensure compliance with federal standards for accessibility (Section 508), plain language, and multilingual content.
Deliver weekly/monthly analytics dashboards measuring reach, engagement, sentiment, and impact.
Advise leadership on trends, risks, and opportunities in social media communications.

Required Experience

5+ years of experience in social media strategy, content management, and analytics.
Experience supporting federal government or large-scale public sector communications.
Demonstrated ability to develop rapid-response content during crisis events.
Familiarity with Presidential Executive Orders and federal digital communications mandates.
Excellent writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills with great attention to detail.
Experience with platforms such as Sprout Social, Meltwater, Hootsuite, or equivalent.
Ability to work collaboratively with the client and other team members (team chemistry is of great importance)
Capable of switching between tasks and activities on a daily basis, based on priorities
Quick learner, self-starter, possesses a great attitude
Excellent customer service skills
Expert with media content management
