Private Equity Associate - Washington DC - Private Equity
Our team is working with a leading TMT focused Private Equity fund to hire a Private Equity Associate to their growing team. The associate will work directly with the GP’s within the fund. Associates with the organization gain first-hand experience across the spectrum of growth equity activities.

Responsibilities:
Researching sectors of interest in the software market
Conducting in-depth financial and strategic analysis of potential investment targets, and working closely with the Partners to research, identify, and pursue new investment opportunities.
Leading the due diligence process and crafting detailed financial models for current and potential investments
Monitor and value portfolio companies on a quarterly basis, as well as producing reports and analytics for our investors.
Active involvement in weekly partnership meetings and annual LP meetings.
Qualifications:
2-4 yrs. of full-time work experience in Technology / TMT investment banking or principal investing, and / or Technology Industry experience, preferably in B2B Software
Undergraduate degree from top tier university with an outstanding record of academic achievement
Strong background in and understanding of the technology industry
Financial analysis skills, including relevant financial modeling experience
Analytical and communication skills needed to conduct industry and sector research
Excellent research skills using multiple sources (web and AI searches, trade journals, analyst reports, etc.)
