LDR Capital Management, an investment advisory firm offering strategies within the publicly traded REIT, REIT Preferred, and Real Estate Related segments of the market, is seeking a highly motivated individual in its Marketing & Investor Relations effort. We currently have a need for an exceptionally bright, conscientious, and articulate hire to join our Marketing & Investor Relations in New York, NY.
Key Responsibilities
· A primary responsibility will be assisting the Firm in client servicing, capital sourcing and account prospecting across client types ranging from institutional to high net worth.
· Engage with current investors to enhance their relationship by delivering efficient and responsive resolution to various inquiries via email and phone.
· Help onboard new investors by collaborating with the Operations Team and interfacing with the Fund Administrator.
· Work on cross functional projects, which include new product & business development initiatives.
· Collaborate with the Investment Team to update and revise marketing material (fact sheets, presentation decks, quarterly letters, etc.) and produce new marketing material based upon market dynamics and investor needs.
· Analyze quantitative and qualitative information to develop a strong understanding of fund performance, portfolio metrics and investment strategy positioning.
· Guide investors through fund due diligence processes, including completing diligence requests (i.e. DDQs, RFPs, RFIs) and handling relevant follow-up.
· Opportunities to travel and attend external meetings to develop skillset with the ultimate goal of independently covering meetings.
· Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of financial markets, LDR’s products and services and competitive landscape.
· Track activities, client dialogue/pipeline and maintain contact information in CRM system to support fundraising processes
Job Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree
· 1-3 years’ professional experience
· Experience in selling alternative investment products is a plus.
· Exceptional relationship building skills.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills and presentation skills.
· Knowledge and understanding of financial and capital markets, specifically fixed income.
· Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, MS Word, Bloomberg and CRM’s.
· Comfortable interacting with sophisticated clients.
· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
· Ability and desire to work in dynamic and demanding environment.
· Strong willingness/desire to learn.
