Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the visual appeal of our products and ensuring that our merchandising strategies align with our brand's goals. This position requires a blend of creativity, organizational skills, and strong communication abilities to effectively manage product displays and inventory.
Duties
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies that enhance product visibility and drive sales.
- Supervise and train staff on merchandising techniques, store management, and customer service best practices.
- Create visually appealing displays using planograms and schematics to maximize product exposure.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure branding consistency across all visual materials.
- Conduct regular inventory management tasks, including stocking, pricing, and inventory control.
- Utilize Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for designing promotional materials and signage.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of merchandise areas to create an inviting shopping environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with inquiries and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Analyze retail sales data to identify trends and adjust merchandising strategies accordingly.
Skills
- Supervising experience in a retail or merchandising environment.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for visual design tasks.
- Strong background in marketing, branding, and retail sales techniques.
- Ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages is a plus (multilingual).
- Knowledge of schematics, planograms, remodeling, and interior design principles.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising execution.
- Strong leadership abilities to motivate team members towards achieving sales goals.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with POS systems, cash handling, cashiering, and retail math concepts.
