About Us
We are an investment group actively investing in a foreign algae bio farm project. Our goal is to ensure the project operates efficiently, scales sustainably, and generates strong and reliable revenue streams. The bio farm itself is run by a partner operator, we are seeking an expert advisor on the investor side to help us oversee, evaluate, and stay informed.
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly educated and experienced bio farm expert who understands both the technical side (algae cultivation, aquaculture systems, production optimization) and the business side (revenue models, contracts, offtake agreements, and scalability).
This is not a day-to-day farm operations role. Instead, you will:
- Stay on top of the project, keep us regularly updated, and ensure accountability.
- Provide independent evaluations of production and financial performance.
- Advise on risks, opportunities, and long-term strategy.
In short, you will be our eyes, ears, and subject matter expert as we monitor and grow this project.
Responsibilities
- Monitor partner operations and provide regular reports/updates to our team.
- Review production data, performance metrics, and financial results.
- Evaluate revenue streams, offtake contracts, and market opportunities.
- Advise on risks, improvements, and growth opportunities.
- Represent the investor perspective in discussions with our operating partner.
Qualifications
- Strong background in algae cultivation, aquaculture, or bio farm operations.
- Deep understanding of both production processes AND revenue streams in bio farms.
- 4+ years of relevant industry experience (consulting, operations, or executive roles).
- Degree in Biotechnology, Marine Biology, Chemical Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Strong ability to communicate with investors and translate technical performance into business outcomes.
Compensation
- $75,000– $250,000 per year (required Indeed placeholder).
- Compensation is fully negotiable- we will pay competitively for the right expertise and experience.
- Flexible arrangement: contract/consulting with remote work, with optional travel.
