Job Description
Pella’s Engineering Development Program is a 2–4 year, comprehensive rotational development program designed to build technical depth, cross-functional exposure, and leadership readiness. As a participant, you’ll rotate through engineering and operation roles aligned with Pella’s strategic priorities, gaining hands-on experience.
Responsibilities
Rotation Structure:
- Program duration: 24 to 48 months
- Number of rotations: 4 rotations, each lasting 6 or 12 months

- Logistics
- Roles will be located at our corporate headquarters as well as other Pella locations
- Each rotation begins with a defined set of objectives and learning outcomes
Supervisory responsibilities: Factory Hourly Team Members for Department Manager Rotation
Work hours: Normal + irregular hours/shifts required
Travel expectations: Up to 25% varies dependent upon role & project assignments
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
EXPERIENCE:
Entry level: 1-3 years combined engineering experience. Previous Co-op experience preferred.
EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENT:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Math, or relevant Science or combination of education and experience. Responsible for ongoing development of technical and leadership competencies.
Computer skills: Microsoft Office applications, AutoCAD, CAD/3D Modeling
Technical / functional skills: Developing skills within multiple disciplines or technologies.
Safety: Periodically exposed to machinery where safe operating procedures must be followed, occasional lifting of materials up to 30 lbs. is required, work environment is noisy.
