Position: Energy Quant Analyst/Software Engineer
Innovative Energy Analytics and Consulting Firm seeks entrepreneurial individual to support rapid growth in the renewable energy market. This person must be independent, self-starter who can manage and manipulate large data sets with little, to no, supervision. 1-2 Years of experience working in the following areas is desired; power market modeling, battery analytics, energy price forecasting, and asset optimization. Strong analytic capability with background in math and or programming is necessary. Web Programming languages (C++, Python, Mongo dB, MySQL, R) is required. A Background in the following areas would also be extremely attractive; Power Trading, Independent System Operators (ISOs), Retail Electricity, Transmission, Electric Tariffs, Energy Regulation, etc.
