Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create detailed technical drawings, plans, and schematics based on engineering and design specifications.
- Translate concepts, sketches, and rough layouts into precise 2D and 3D models using CAD software.
- Review and revise drawings to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with company and industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to gather requirements and incorporate feedback.
- Maintain drawing databases, records, and documentation for reference and project tracking.
- Apply knowledge of materials, manufacturing methods, and construction standards to ensure designs are practical and cost-effective.
- Identify and resolve potential design conflicts or drafting issues before final production.
- Ensure compliance with safety codes, regulations, and quality assurance standards in all drawings.
- Support the development of design presentations and technical documentation for internal and client use.
- Assist in continuous improvement of drafting processes, templates, and CAD standards.
