Position Overview
Base Lab Tools is seeking a highly skilled Apple System Administrator to support and manage our Apple ecosystem within a Microsoft-based network environment. This role is ideal for a professional with strong experience in setting up and managing Apple devices in a business setting. The position is part-time, requiring approximately five hours per week, with flexibility in scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, deploy, and maintain Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac) across the company.
- Manage Apple Business Manager functions, including:
- Managed Apple IDs
- Automated device enrollment (ADE)
- Device inventory and tracking
- Content management and distribution
- Single sign-on (SSO) integrations
- Ensure seamless integration of Apple devices within a Microsoft network environment.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Apple device users.
- Maintain documentation of configurations, processes, and device inventory.
- (Bonus) Assist with administration of Microsoft servers and Windows-based computers.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing Apple devices in a professional/business environment.
- Hands-on expertise with:
- Apple Business Manager
- Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions (e.g., Jamf, Intune, or similar)
- Automated Device Enrollment and SSO configurations
- Strong understanding of Microsoft network environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing Microsoft Windows PCs and Microsoft Server environments.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and hybrid Apple-Microsoft workflows.
