Malsam Tsang Structural Engineering, an energetic midsize structural consulting firm, is seeking full-time Structural Engineers to join our growing team in Santa Monica. About Us
We specialize in the design of single-family homes, townhomes, multi-family residences, mixed-use, and commercial projects. Our Santa Monica office offers a vibrant, collaborative, and naturally lit open-studio environment within walking distance of mass transit, the Santa Monica Pier, and a wide variety of restaurants and cafés. We also have offices in Seattle and Spokane and we are open to candidates interested in those locations.

What We’re Looking For
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering (required).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant design experience preferred; new graduates will be considered if they bring strong technical skills and a desire to learn.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with building codes and structural design principles.
- Licensure: EIT, PE, or SE accreditation
- Mindset: A passion for engineering, curiosity, and a commitment to teamwork and problem-solving.
- Work Authorization: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis. Malsam Tsang is unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time.

Compensation
- Base salary range is dependent upon qualifications: $75,000 - $125,000 / year (approx. $36 - $60 / hour)
