We currently have an exciting opportunity for a qualified applicant as a Real Estate Financing Insurance Consulting Specialist.
Position Summary
Will provide highest quality consulting services to domestic and international banks and lenders. The position carries with it limited travel, flexible hours and an environment conductive to growth.
Responsibilities
¨ Identify and analyze areas of potential risk to borrower, this involves comparing estimated risks with criteria established by the bank/lender such as cost, legal requirements and environmental factors including review of relevant modeling (wind, flood and/or seismic) as well as aggregation.
Work on loan agreements and other contract language review
Work with Borrower and brokers to obtain the appropriate insurance documentation for financing transactions.
Ability to review and comment on the insurance and relevant sections of loan agreement (on behalf of Lender Clients).
Compile reports of all insurance reviewed
Requirements
¨Excellent oral and written communication skills
¨Strong computer skills especially in MS Outlook, Word and Excel
¨Analytic skills with a good eye for detail
¨Knowledge of property and casualty insurance policy clauses
¨Must have anticipatory skills and be able to demonstrate proactive approaches for the benefit of clients, so that they are optimally protected
¨At least 2 years of experience in commercial risk management
¨Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably with area of study in
Business, Finance, or Risk Management
¨ CRM, ARM or CPCU designation preferred
