Role: Regional Application Engineering Leader – Dielectric Fluids (FR3)

Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Regional Application Engineering Leader to serve as a subject matter expert on FR3 transformer fluid. You will enable adoption with transformer OEMs and end users through training, hands-on technical support, and practical guidance on how insulating liquids (FR3 and mineral oil) influence transformer design decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain technical relationships with OEMs and end users to retain and grow business.
- Deliver customer and internal training, presentations, and field/virtual support.
- Lead/oversee technical projects; anticipate developments and contribute to roadmaps.
- Serve as a regional expert on insulating liquids; resolve complex issues independently.
- Author/Present papers at industry events to promote products and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field.
- 4+ years relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience with insulating liquids in transformers (FR3/natural esters & mineral oil).
- Working knowledge of power/distribution transformer design fundamentals.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to travel up to 50%.
Preferred Skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish (nice to have).
- Project/product management experience.
- Experience in transformer design/manufacturing or with OEMs.
- Customer support experience; strong cross-cultural collaboration.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
