Bring your commercial knowledge and strong customer service skills to this high-energy Building Engineer opportunity! In this role you will maintain quality care of a 100,000 sqft. Class A office building that is a downtown Bellevue landmark in the heart of the CBD. Provide world-class customer service with timely response and resolution to tenant requests and concerns.
The BUILDING ENGINEER is responsible for the operation and ongoing preventive maintenance and repair of all major building systems. You will establish and maintain relationships with tenants, contractors and vendors required for daily efficient building operation. You respond to and handle service requests from tenants. Program and maintain the building’s automation systems, HVAC, life safety and security controls.

Have strong commercial building operations and maintenance knowledge of:
- mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- fire alarm systems
- general maintenance and repair procedures
- minor construction trades (drywall, painting)
- troubleshooting for all physical elements of building, including valves, controls, shutoffs, meters, etc.
- building automation and controls for HVAC, security/access, life safety
Have strong communication skills and ability to manage vendors and contracts
Have strong time management, record keeping, multi-tasking and decision making skills.
Are available to work on-call rotation and to lead emergency and after-hours situations.
Requirements:
5+ years' experience in building maintenance, engineering, or equivalent
Washington 07-Electrical trainee card
Current driver's license with clean driving record
Personal vehicle
Ability to pass background check, pre-employment and random drug tests
Good written and verbal communication skills
Computer skills: Microsoft Office, Workorder software (Angus preferred)
