Job Title: R&D Engineer
Location: 8195 Industrial Blvd., Covington, GA 30014
Duration: 12-month contract
Work hours: 8-5 with 1 hour lunch; some flexibility around these times
Description:
Must-Have Skills:
- BSME or MSME
- at least 10+ years of experience in electromechanical, capital equipment designs
- strong analytical skills
- ability to lead a small team
Nice-to-Have Skills (if any):
- medical device or regulated industry background
- The Staff level Mechanical Engineer is responsible for designing and developing components, mechanisms, systems and finished products or equipment.
- They can technically lead a small team. They demonstrate advanced knowledge of Mechanical Engineering and its application in solving complex mechanical problems.
- They demonstrate advanced understanding of internal and external customer or business needs.
- They work independently and in a team to create designs of multiple components, systems or devices.
- They independently (and in a team) conduct testing and analyze and solve advanced technical problems.
- They apply advanced statistical techniques and utilize design of experiments, have in-depth experience, knowledge, and skills in own job family.
- They apply knowledge and skills to a wide range of standard and non-standard situations.
- They usually determine own work priorities and act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
