Position Overview
We’re looking for a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our team! This role will focus on creating professional print layouts, marketing materials, and branded designs for both our customers and our own promotional use. The ideal candidate is creative, dependable, and thrives in a hands-on, collaborative print environment.
Responsibilities
- Design print-ready layouts for books, flyers, brochures, business cards, banners, signs, and other materials
- Collaborate with clients to bring their ideas to life through thoughtful, visually appealing design
- Create marketing and promotional materials for Wimberley Printing Company, including social media graphics and signage
- Prepare and proof digital files for accurate, high-quality printing
- Maintain consistency with brand standards and color profiles across all materials
- Assist with prepress setup and file preparation for digital and offset printing
- Support the production team with occasional layout adjustments and creative input
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) required
- Strong understanding of typography, layout design, and color theory
- Experience designing for print production (understanding bleeds, margins, and file prep)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
- Previous print shop or design agency experience preferred
