Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer ready to lead innovation and take full ownership of product design from concept to production? We’re looking for a Mechanical Engineering Team Lead to guide our talented engineering group and bring next-generation products to life.
In this role, you’ll oversee the full product development lifecycle—driving design excellence, mentoring a skilled team, and ensuring every product meets the highest standards of quality, reliability, and manufacturability.
What You’ll Do
- Lead mechanical product design from concept through mass production.
- Design, prototype, and validate mechanical systems, test fixtures, and production tooling.
- Create and review 3D CAD models and detailed drawings using GD&T best practices.
- Perform engineering calculations and FEA simulations to validate designs.
- Mentor and guide engineers while fostering collaboration and technical growth.
- Manage documentation and compliance under ISO 13485 standards.
- Drive process improvements to enhance performance, manufacturability, and cost efficiency.
What You’ll Bring
- BS in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
- 5+ years of mechanical design experience and 3+ years of engineering leadership.
- Proven track record leading products from concept to series production.
- Strong proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks or Siemens NX), FEA, and DFM principles.
- Experience with medical device or regulated product development a big plus.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
