D365 Business Analyst - IT Business Applications

Are you a techno-functional analyst with a passion for optimizing business systems? We're looking for a D365 Business Analyst to join our IT-Business Applications team. In this role, you'll be key to supporting the analysis, design, development, and implementation of critical business systems and processes, with a strong focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
You will be the bridge between our business needs and technical solutions, working closely with various departments to translate their needs into concrete requirements and functional system designs.
Key Responsibilities
- D365 Support and Troubleshooting: Provide direct support to D365 Finance and Operations end-users. This includes triaging and resolving standard break-fix issues, with critical focus and attention during financial month-end close periods.
- Requirements and System Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for new systems or system enhancements. Assist in the design, development, testing, and implementation of system functionality.
- Documentation and Training: Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation (user manuals, process flows, technical specifications). Conduct training sessions to ensure effective system utilization.
- Compliance and Monitoring: Maintain user access in accordance with SOX compliant segregation of duties. Monitor system alerts and daily audit reports, providing necessary troubleshooting.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and propose opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
Essential Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a current US Citizen or GC only.
- Experience: 1-2 years in an application support or analyst role within a professional environment.
- ERP Systems: ERP systems experience is mandatory, with Microsoft Dynamics 365 strongly preferred.
- Business Acumen: Familiarity with core financial functions, including accounting, accounts payable/receivable, treasury, and capital and asset management.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively translate technical information for non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Technical Skills
- A basic understanding of business systems and software applications.
- Familiarity with SQL, Debugging, and object-oriented programming (knowledge of X++ is a significant plus).
