Job Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled PCB Test Engineering Technician for a short-term assignment focused on validating space-grade hardware. This role is critical to ensuring mission success by verifying that products perform reliably under the extreme conditions of space and launch environments. You’ll contribute to high-profile aerospace programs and collaborate across engineering disciplines to deliver robust testing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Test Planning & Execution
- Design and implement test plans, hardware setups, and automation scripts to validate deliverable aerospace-grade products.
- Participate in engineering design reviews and provide feedback on testability and reliability.
- Develop and execute environmental, regression, dynamic, and scripted automation testing procedures.
Reporting & Analysis
- Generate detailed reports on test activities and maintain metrics for performance tracking.
- Lead failure analysis efforts, including documentation, technical evaluation, and communication with stakeholders.
- Monitor and improve test processes through yield analysis, throughput tracking, and root cause investigations.
Technical Support & Oversight
- Coordinate labor, equipment, and schedules for standard and specialized device testing.
- Provide technical guidance across multiple programs and technologies.
- Support testing of customer deliverables and unique hardware configurations.
- Mentor and coach early-career engineers in testing best practices.
Ideal Experience
- High School diploma with 6+ years of experience in aerospace test engineering or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with scripting and automation for testing workflows.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $54.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
