Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
Location: Oshkosh, WI (Onsite)
Citizenship Requirement: Must be a U.S. Citizen
Experience Required: 6-12 months of relevant experience
Interview Process: Microsoft Teams interview upon Hiring Manager's request
Pay Range: $40 to $44/hour on W2
Role Summary
Design and develop reliable, cost-effective components for heavy-duty vehicles. Support engineering analysis, design, and integration into new and existing vehicle platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform basic engineering calculations and tasks under supervision
- Assist in design plans, layouts, and specifications
- Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards and company policies
- Evaluate designs for safety, reliability, and performance
- Provide technical support for production and resolve engineering issues
- Prepare reports, proposals, and presentations
- Maintain regular attendance and perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- Internship or 6+ months of relevant experience
Preferred
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering
- Knowledge of automotive/heavy-vehicle systems
- Experience with high-level CAD tools
Core Competencies
- Effective internal and limited external communication
- Ability to interpret technical documents and procedures
- Structured problem-solving within standard guidelines
- Occasional leadership responsibilities (e.g., lead worker)
