CTP is looking for a Media & Analytics Intern.
We love working with talented people, and we continually look for compassionate co-workers with a collaborative spirit to add to our community. Our work moves quickly and we’re great at coming together to find creative solutions for our clients' most interesting problems. CTP’s wide array of work can be seen here.
In this role, you’ll gain exposure to both media and analytics, two disciplines that work closely together at CTP. You’ll collaborate with both teams to help plan, execute, and measure campaigns, learning how data informs creative media strategies and how insights drive optimization.
This role is a great fit for someone curious about how media and data work together to tell stories and drive results. If you enjoy digging into details, spotting patterns in numbers, and learning how campaigns perform in the real world, you’ll thrive here.
What You’ll Do
Media responsibilities:
- Help manage digital campaign pacing across accounts, providing daily updates and flagging any issues at the campaign or ad level.
- Maintain media status reports, timelines, and monthly spend estimates, ensuring accuracy during key traffic weeks.
- Support research and planning efforts, including vendor outreach and pricing.
- Attend media vendor presentations and training sessions to learn about new platforms and industry trends.
- Create insertion orders, flowcharts, and proof-of-performance documentation.
- Assist with invoice management and weekly/monthly reconciliation.
- Help maintain the team’s Monday.com board and internal status management tools.
Analytics Responsibilities
- Support data collection, organization, and reporting for client campaigns.
- Help develop measurement strategies and frameworks to evaluate marketing effectiveness.
- Learn and assist with tracking setup (UTMs, pixels, tags, QA).
- Create and interpret dashboards and reporting outputs.
- Clearly communicate findings and insights to CTP teammates and client stakeholders.
- Explore and learn new tools used for client business intelligence, including Google Search Console, social listening platforms, and CRMs.
What you’ll learn
- How paid, earned, and owned media work together to deliver results.
- How to use data to optimize media performance and tell clear stories through reporting.
- How to manage and track campaign details using real-world tools and workflows.
- How creative and strategic teams collaborate across disciplines in a full-service agency environment.
Qualifications
- Ability to commute to our Boston office 2x/week (Tuesday and Wednesday).
- Ability to work 10-16 hours per week based on a mutually agreed upon schedule
- A foundational understanding of campaign management, planning, and analytics
- Previous agency experience is welcomed
- Intermediate use of Excel for graphs and pivot tables
This is a paid internship at $15 per hour, with an expected schedule of 10–16 hours each week.
