We are seeking a dynamic and creative Kitchen Sales and Design Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in providing exceptional customer service while guiding clients through the kitchen renovation process. You will be responsible for engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored design solutions that enhance their homes.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their kitchen design needs and preferences.
- Utilize SketchUp and CAD software to create detailed layout designs that meet client specifications.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits of kitchen products.
- Manage the sales process from initial consultation through to project completion, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with clients while upselling additional products or services as appropriate.
- Collaborate with contractors and construction teams to ensure designs are executed accurately during renovations.
- Maintain organized records of client interactions, sales activities, and project progress using POS systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle, addressing any concerns or questions promptly.
- Stay informed about industry trends in kitchen design, lighting options, and high-end materials to provide expert advice to clients.
Experience
- Proven experience in outside sales or inside sales within the home improvement or retail sector is preferred.
- Familiarity with renovation processes and construction practices is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in design software such as SketchUp and CAD for creating layouts is essential.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clientele; multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Experience in high-end sales environments with a focus on upselling and account management is beneficial.
- A background in interior design or related fields will enhance your candidacy.
