Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure the accuracy of our financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with expertise in various accounting software systems. As the Financial Controller, you will play a critical role in managing budgets, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Duties
- Manage all aspects of financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct account reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
- Supervise payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms for efficient financial management.
- Perform account analysis to identify trends and variances in financial performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that drive business growth.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role in accounting or finance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or others is essential.
- Experience with budgeting, account reconciliation, payroll management, and financial analysis.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
