Responsibilities
- Design and model 3D parts and assemblies in SolidWorks.
- Develop detailed drawings optimized for multiple manufacturing methods.
- Revise and update models and drawings during and after production.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date assemblies and BOMs (Bills of Materials).
- Manage part and assembly data within SolidWorks PDM.
- Create and maintain electrical drawings for production throughout the build process.
- Provide on-site support, including occasional travel to client sites for installations and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of metal and plastic manufacturing methods.
- Experience creating and interpreting electrical schematics for industrial systems.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks (2D/3D CAD) and familiarity with ISO dimensioning standards, fits/clearances, and surface finishes.
- Working knowledge of pneumatic and electric actuators.
- Ability to think critically, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues independently.
- Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and communication skills.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of industrial experience in mechanical design.
