Job Summary/Description
KCRG-TV9, a Gray Media Station, is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Assistant to join our team, focusing on broadcast media and digital marketing. As a Sales Assistant, this candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team to achieve revenue goals and enhance our presence in the ever-evolving landscape of broadcast media and digital marketing. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a keen understanding of advertising and marketing principles, and a passion for staying abreast of industry trends. Duties/Responsibilities Include (but Are Not Limited To)
- Sales Support:
- Assist the sales team in preparing proposals, presentations, digital reviews, and sales collateral for TV media and digital marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with the sales team to maintain accurate and up-to-date client creative campaigns, extensions, and sales collateral updates through GDM platforms.
- Ensure all digital orders are running in Wide Orbit, Engage, and the proper creative is active.
- Input broadcast and digital orders for Multimedia Executives.
- Pull digital and broadcast reports each week or as instructed.
- Market Research:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in broadcast sponsorships and digital marketing opportunities.
- Provide regular updates to the sales team regarding any updates and releases from Gray Corporate or GDM this including digital updates and communications relevant to the newsletters.
- Research key updates and initiatives via ComScore and Nielsen.
- Client Communication:
- Act as a liaison between clients and the sales team, addressing inquiries, providing information, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Assist in the development of client proposals using PowerPoint, Word, Excel sponsorship contracts, and ensure alignment with campaign objectives.
- Digital Marketing Coordination:
- Work closely with the Multimedia Sales Manager and Sales Assistant I to coordinate the execution of digital campaigns.
- Review insights dashboards and assist in preparing client broadcast and digital review documentation in PowerPoint.
- Assist in monitoring and analyzing the performance of digital marketing initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Administrative Support:
- Manage and organize sales-related documentation, contracts, and other administrative tasks.
- Assist in tracking sales metrics, KPI’s and preparing monthly reports for clients/Multimedia Executives.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Previous sales or sales support experience is preferred but not required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
- Strong understanding of TV media and digital marketing concepts and trends is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with CRM software.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Enjoys working with technology and on computers
- Candidate must be able to successfully complete the MVR check
