At our Planview, Texas facility, we specialize in precision fabrication and assembly of complex steel and aluminum structures. Our team combines innovative engineering, advanced fabrication techniques, and a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction to deliver world-class products to parks and attractions worldwide.
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support our growing production operations. This role will be a key link between engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customer support. The ideal candidate has experience in fabrication processes, SolidWorks modeling, manufacturing documentation, quality control, and sourcing replacement parts, with the flexibility to support both new-build projects and ongoing maintenance of existing rides in the field.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Manufacturing Engineer will develop, optimize, and oversee manufacturing processes for roller coaster and ride components. This role involves establishing and improving processes related to welding, forming, machining, coatings, and assembly, ensuring quality and consistency across production. Additional responsibilities include 3D CAD modeling, creation of manufacturing and assembly drawing packages, sourcing acceptable and qualifying replacement parts due to vendor shortages or obsolescence, and supporting ongoing customer equipment needs. The position also requires research and use of archived drawings and historical ride data to maintain continuity of product support throughout the lifecycle of RMA attractions. Occasional domestic and international travel may be required to support new installation projects and customer owned equipment.

· Generate complete manufacturing and assembly drawing packages, including fabrication details, BOMs, and installation instructions. These assembly packages must incorporate processes capable of being performed by our staff with minimum outsourced production.
· Review engineering designs for manufacturability, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
· Provide technical expertise to production teams on welding, forming, machining, coatings, and assembly practices. A focus on efficient processes and quality will be essential.
· Implement and maintain quality control standards, inspection methods, and process verification to ensure consistent product quality.
· Source and qualify replacement and buyout parts when availability issues arise, ensuring redundancy and long-term support.
· Contribute to customer support activities, providing technical input on fielded rides, troubleshooting, and replacement solutions.
· Research and interpret archived drawings and historical ride data to support maintenance, repair, and retrofit projects.
· Collaborate with design engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure smooth project execution.
· Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for production or field issues.
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives for safety, efficiency, and product reliability.
