Project Overview
Our client is implementing a new internal tax system as part of a strategic effort to modernize outdated tax processes. Our team is supporting the organization through this transformation by serving as a strategic connector between multiple stakeholders, including training teams, system developers, and business users. By implementing a structured change management approach, we aim to streamline tax operations, enhance user adoption, and facilitate a seamless transition to the new system while minimizing disruptions to daily operations.
To help achieve these objectives, we are seeking a consultant to support change management efforts with a particular focus on process documentation and communication activities.
Responsibilities
· Client Engagement: Collaborate with project teams to engage with clients, understand their needs, and contribute to the development of solutions. This may involve conducting research, data analysis, and participating in client meetings and workshops.
· Analysis and Problem-Solving: Assist in conducting analysis and assessments to identify key issues, trends, and opportunities for improvement. Consultants are often involved in gathering and synthesizing data, performing qualitative and quantitative analyses, and contributing insights to support decision-making.
· Project Support: Provide support to project managers and senior consultants in executing consulting engagements. This may include developing project plans, timelines, and deliverables, as well as tracking progress, identifying risks, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
· Research and Thought Leadership: Conduct research on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to contribute to the development of intellectual capital and thought leadership within the firm. Consultants may be involved in writing articles, whitepapers, or case studies on relevant topics.
· Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients by delivering high-quality work, demonstrating professionalism, and effectively communicating project updates and findings.
· Team Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues across different functional areas and levels of seniority to leverage diverse perspectives and expertise in delivering client solutions. Consultants often work as part of interdisciplinary teams to address complex challenges.
· Professional Development: Take initiative in developing consulting skills and domain expertise through on-the-job learning, formal training programs, and mentorship opportunities. Consultants are encouraged to pursue relevant certifications and advanced degrees to enhance their capabilities.
· Business Development Support: Support business development efforts by participating in proposal development, client presentations, and other activities aimed at acquiring new projects and expanding existing client relationships.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree
· 0-3 years of relevant consulting and/or project management experience
· Experience with Federal Government Consulting
· Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word, Excel)
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
