The PO analyst ensures that any orders processed to distributors support business needs and ambitions while in line with MH financial guidelines.
Office/Location: Hybrid 3x a week based out of NYC Office
Job Responsibilities
Business partner – focused on business acumen
- Act as representative of Replenishment manager to distributors within defined scope
- Actively monitor, action, and measure performance on transportation (domestic and international flow)
- Execute supply and financial strategy (pre PI, landing, …)
- Apply supply chain knowledge to propagate critical customer-related needs and information to appropriate business stakeholders.
- Drive strong awareness of the region’s sales programming and marketing activities and provide recommendations for ways in which Replenishment can support business and sales goals.
- Actively partner with distributor partnership teams to understand forecasts and seasonal commercial strategies and apply data to order planning.
Communication
- Serve as single point of contact on customer service for distributor and commercial team (understanding, troubleshooting, and finding)
- Consistently communicate Sales target to both external and internal team
- Drive open and regular communication with distributors to continually review order status, open allocations, VAP status, supply and logistics constraints, sales goals, etc.
Analysis
- Analyze and prescribe to distributor the necessary supply to meet business forecast (MRF)
- Build and maintain proactive partnerships with distributors, providing guidance and direction to plan monthly order flow.
- Optimize route to market for all orders; evaluate and implement efficiencies pertaining to sourcing (warehouse vs. direct import) and order exceptions (out of stock, delivery blocks, allocation issues, credit holds, etc.).
- Analysis and execution of agility movement to maximize depletions in a context of unbalanced supply
- Analyze product availability to determine optimum mix and flow of goods, communicating seasonal offerings, VAP, new products, vintage change programs, etc. to distributors, and make recommendations to adjust orders as necessary.
- Analyze orders to ensure alignment with consumption vs. target plans, and to maximize depletion; and provide analysis to the Replenishment Manager and regional stakeholders.
- Control successful, accurate delivery of all orders and resolve issues as necessary.
Profile
Education:
Bachelor’s Degrees, or MBA Degree and/or years of equivalent experience.
Professional Experience & Skills:
Professional experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in Operations or Supply Chain
- Experience working closely with distributors / customers in a B2B environment
- Wines and spirits 3-tier system experience preferred
- Strong understanding of supply chain mechanics
