to our Alternatives Advisory services, Epogee’s platform spans both direct real estate and private
equity verticals, requiring seamless coordination and strategic execution across operational and
investment personnel. Our team combines institutional investment experience with an entrepreneurial
approach to sourcing, evaluating, and managing alternative investments. We emphasize rigorous

Position Overview
The Chief of Staff will serve an integral role to the Managing Partner and a central coordinating
force across Epogee's business verticals. This is a high-impact, multifaceted role that begins with
core operational and executive support responsibilities and evolves into expanded leadership across
marketing, business development, investor relations, and investment due diligence. The ideal
candidate will thrive in managing cross-functional initiatives, ensuring operational excellence
across all verticals, and contributing to the firm's growth trajectory.
Key Responsibilities
Core Operational Leadership
- Provide direct strategic and administrative support to the Managing Partner, including calendar
management, correspondence, travel arrangements, and meeting preparation
- Act as the central hub for cross-vertical coordination, ensuring seamless communication and
collaboration between real estate and private equity team members
- Orchestrate firm-wide initiatives and priorities to ensure efficient execution across all investment verticals
- Support client service functions, including onboarding, account maintenance, document preparation, and communications
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, including investment reviews, client updates, and vendor discussions
- Manage special projects related to firm operations, technology improvements, and workflow optimization
Advanced Responsibilities – Investment Operations & Due Diligence
- Assist with investment and operational processes across both real estate and private equity verticals, including trade logistics, performance reporting, and compliance recordkeeping
- Support operational due diligence efforts for prospective investments, including manager assessments, background verification, and operational infrastructure reviews
- Participate in investment due diligence processes by coordinating information requests, organizing data rooms, and preparing analytical materials
- Help maintain investment documentation, tracking systems, and portfolio monitoring processes across all verticals
Evolving Responsibilities – Marketing & Business Development
- Develop and refine marketing materials, pitch books, and investment presentations for both real estate and private equity strategies
- Assist in preparing quarterly letters, performance updates, and thought leadership content
- Coordinate the firm's presence at industry conferences, client events, and networking opportunities
- Contribute to digital marketing strategy, website content, and social media presence
Evolving Responsibilities – Investor Relations
- Serve as a key point of contact for investor inquiries and relationship management
- Support the preparation and distribution of investor communications, capital call notices, and distribution statements
- Coordinate investor meetings, annual meetings, and advisory board sessions
- Help maintain investor databases and CRM systems to ensure accurate and timely communication
- Assist with fundraising efforts, including investor presentations and roadshow coordination
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree required; concentration in finance, business, economics, or related field preferred
- 1-3 years of professional experience, ideally in investment management, real estate, private equity, or another client service-oriented field
- Exceptional organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities across different teams and functions with discretion and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex information for various audiences
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with CRM, portfolio management systems, or deal management platforms a plus
- Positive, resourceful, and proactive mindset—comfortable rolling up your sleeves to solve problems and support the team
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across diverse stakeholder groups
Preferred
- Genuine interest in alternative investments, particularly real estate and private equity
- Experience coordinating cross-functional projects or working in a multi-strategy investment environment
- Exposure to marketing, investor relations, or business development functions
- Familiarity with due diligence processes (operational or investment-related)
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to grow and take on increasing responsibility
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $65,000–$85,000, commensurate with experience
- Bonus Structure: Discretionary annual bonus and profit-sharing participation based on individual and firm performance
