Entry-Level F-22 Software Engineer - Developer
This entry-level software engineer role at Boeing involves developing, testing, and maintaining avionics software for the F-22 Raptor, supporting the U.S. Air Force. The position requires collaboration within agile teams to modernize the Operational Flight Program and related infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards. Candidates must have programming experience in C++, C#, or Python, and the ability to obtain a security clearance for work on sensitive defense projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
- Ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs (SAP)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- Experience with Ada
- 2+ years of experience in Linux and/or Windows operating systems
- 2+ years of experience in AGILE software development, Atlassian tool suite, GitLab and/or Git
- 2+ years of experience in software unit testing, integration testing, containerization, and/or software abstraction
